Perhaps the citizens of Kansas will revolt at voting booth and remove right wing conservative Republicans from state office. Perhaps they will realize that this group of elected no-tax followers of Koch Industries Americans for Prosperity have shut down public schools and shut down health care for persons with disabilities and the elederly not to mention roads, public safety etc etc. They have created a bankrupt state and now are recreating the 1950's racist States Rights government. When citizens (parents) across the state wake up and realize that the way to keep schools open is to vote out of office the right wing...perhaps change will come. Fill the streets of Topeka and close down the capital and run them out of town. It works in Thailand, Phillipines, Italy and else where. It may work soon in Iran. Why not Kansas. Cheers.
Hi, Jim. Very well said. Maybe people in Thailand and the Phillipines feel like they have less to lose. And are way, way more angry. I don't know. It seems like all the big bugs understand is force. There's that picture in the capitol bldg of the Populists posing with their rifles by the desks in the House chamber - before the Repub-controlled militia forced them out and stole the election. Things were much worse for most people back then. But I think we may be there soon.
